The Aprilia rider crashed out of fifth place with two laps to go in Saturday’s Sprint.
Initially, he did not appear to be in any hurry to get back to his bike before marshals began to try to move his bike.
As the marshall accidentally revved the engine, Bezzecchi rushed to his bike and pushed the official away from his RS-GP26 before appearing to slap him across his face.
FIM stewards duly sanctioned Bezzecchi with a one-race ban.
Aprilia is expected to appeal the decision.
“Following a crash you pushed and struck circuit Marshals who were trying to recover your machine,” FIM stewards wrote in their report.

“This is an action prejudicial to the interests of the sport and is therefore an infringement.
He was sanctioned under Article 3.3.2.2 of the MotoGP regulations, which notes: “Any corrupt or fraudulent act, or any action prejudicial to the interests of the meetings or of the sport, carried out by a person or a group of persons occurring during an event.”
The ban could have huge implications on the world championship. Bezzecchi leads the points and was set to start Sunday’s feature race from fourth.
He currently leads by 20 points over his Aprilia teammate Jorge Martin.
Ducati’s Francesco Bagnaia won Saturday’s Sprint ahead of Trackhouse rider Ai Ogura. Marc Marcquez was third.
